AVANTech is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team in Columbia, SC. The Administrative Assistant will assist multiple departments including Finance, Project Management, Quality Assurance, and Purchasing to assure smooth and timely completion of work. Successful candidates should have excellent customer service skills and must be outcome oriented. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects combined with strong attention to detail and organizational skills is essential. Qualifications include 3-5 years' experience in administrative support with Associate Degree in related field and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office skills and office administration.

CNC Operator  (post date: 2021-02-15)

AVANTech is seeking an experienced CNC Operator at our manufacturing facility in Columbia, SC, to increase our productivity and the quality of our finished products. Qualified candidate will be able to run a CNC machine, perform quality checks, monitor, and record hourly machine output readings as well as create detailed reports for management. Minimum requirements include high school diploma, 1-2 years experience operating CNC production equipment; Fundamentals of Metal Fabrication certification or industry-related certifications preferred.

Electrical Engineer  (post date: 2021-02-01)

AVANTech is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our team in Columbia, SC. The Electrical Engineer, working closely with the Engineering Manager, will be responsible for the electrical design and PLC/HMI programming of industrial water treatment systems. The design process includes creating electrical drawings using AutoCAD, determining system loads, supervising the construction of electrical systems, programming system PLCs and HMIs, testing systems prior to shipping, and starting systems up in the field. Minimum qualifications include a B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering; minimum of 3-5 years related job experience; adaptability to changing project requirements and schedules; ability to read and follow electrical diagrams, schematics, and mechanical prints; and at least one year of AutoCAD experience.
